If you’ve had the pleasure of trying sous vide meats, eggs, or fish, then you know there’s a whole other side to protein—one that is not tough, but utterly tender. One of the major players in the immersion circulator game is Anova Culinary. They have incredible kitchen electronics with wifi connectivity, but frankly, they’re too expensive for the typical Friday shopping session. Well, not today, folks. In fact, today is the very best Friday to buy the Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker Pro because it’s over $200 off, so grab it before Prime Day sales end.
An immersion circulator, or sous vide cooker, is a device that slowly heats up a large water bath and regulates a low cooking temperature to gently cook your meal. It’s much lower than what your oven or air fryer can sustain—we’re talking 130°F kind of low. This takes hours of low and slow cooking but the results are worth it. You will be rewarded with succulent proteins that have retained much of their moisture. (Read more details on sous vide cooking here.)
But to do all this, you need a precision immersion circulator. The Anova Culinary immersion circulator is a well-known brand that delivers with power and reliability. But you get what you pay for—a high-end brand comes with a high price tag. Which is why this sale is such a big deal. Normally, the Anova Precision Cooker Pro is $399, but right now it’s 57% off for $172.09. That’s over $200 off. It’s truly a steal, and I don’t know that we’ll ever see this type of discount again.
For a bit more context, Anova Culinary offers two main immersion circulators: The Precision Cooker 3.0, which is better for smaller portions (retail price $229), and the Precision Cooker Pro, which is their premium model that can circulate larger portions and heats up even faster than the Precision Cooker 3.0. Both have wifi connectivity so you can control it easily from their app. The Precision 3.0 is $137.99 right now, but this sale makes The Precision Pro just $35 more. Personally, I think the speed and extra capabilities are worth it, so I recommend going Pro.
