For most users, the Surface Laptop 3’s biggest draw is its form factor. The 13.5-inch model weighs just under three pounds, and the larger 15-inch version remains thin enough to slip into a bag without fuss. The aluminum build still feels premium, and the PixelSense touchscreen remains bright and responsive, with a 3:2 aspect ratio that is ideal for scrolling through documents or editing photos. Microsoft’s keyboard and trackpad combo has aged particularly well—PCMag called it “snappy and satisfying”—and the typing experience still beats most modern ultrabooks.
