My Favorite Portable Air Fryer Is on Sale Right Now for Prime Day

Air fryers are one of the kitchen appliances I test the most. I’ve seen a lot of unexpected things and heard a ton of loud convection fans, but I haven’t yet seen anything quite as interesting as the Ninja Crispi. Its unique design is a boon for small kitchens or the person who desperately wishes they could bring their air fryer on vacation. It’s my favorite portable air fryer, and it’s available on sale for Walmart Deals and Amazon Prime Day right now . 

If you’ve had the chance to browse through my favorite air fryer models of 2025, you’ll notice most of the air fryers have a rather commanding stature. They’re excellent tools, but they do tend to take up more than their fair share of space. The one air fryer on that list that can truly tuck away into a cabinet, though, is the Ninja Crispi. 

What’s special about the design is that the convection fan is in a pod-like lid. The kit comes with two differently sized tempered glass containers with corresponding grates. You simply press the grate into the container, add food, and place the lid-pod on top. Then press the buttons on the pod for your desired temperature and time. 

The containers also come with snap-on lids, so they can double—nay, triple—as a cooking vessel, serving dish, and storage container. I make fully air-fried party dips with my Ninja Crispi. Then when you’re finished, wait for the container to cool down and toss it in the dishwasher or hand wash it in the sink. The containers nest within each other, and you can flip the pod upside down to save even more space when storing. I’ve even tossed mine in a backpack to air fry at a cooking event—it’s that portable. It’s on sale right now at Walmart for $149.00, which just beats out the Prime Day competition of $159.95 on Amazon.

Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+. 

Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
